As your counsellor, my primary focus is you - your thoughts and feelings, your transitions and changes, your challenges and celebrations, and how best I can support you to explore your situation.
I believe your counselling journey not to be about me and my life story, however I do recognise the importance of sharing a little of myself, especially that of my professional background.
I have over 15 years experience providing specialist pastoral support to both young people and mature learners, having worked in the Further Education sector.
As a skilled mentor and coach, I trained in therapeutic counselling, and after leaving an organisational setting to focus on family life, I now provide counselling within my private practice.
As a qualified practitioner, I hold a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic counselling, with integrative counselling as the chosen modality.
I have completed the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s Certificate of Proficiency, and continue to be a registered member of the BACP.
